2018-19: Coach of 15U

image1Devin is excited for her 5th season with JVC. She has been coaching indoor for 10 years working with all ages. She was the assistant coach at the 2018 junior nationals where the team placed 5th in the country. She will be going into her 4th season as head coach at St. Marks middle school where her team has won 2 championships. Devin started playing volleyball in 9th grade as a middle blocker and became a varsity player by 10th grade at her 6A division high school in Alabama. While in high school she received an invitation to play for the Alabama All-stars team composed of the top players in Alabama. While attending a camp at Troy University her Junior year, she received a full ride scholarship. She accepted the offer to the Division 1 college and became a 4 year starting middle for the Trojans. Devin received many all-tournament and MVP awards, the top one being at Auburn University’s tournament. She held the record for most career blocks and career block assists from 2013 to 2016. While at Troy Devin learned to play beach volleyball and won the first open tournament she ever played in. After Troy she moved to West Palm to pursue beach and indoor. She played on the indoor professional team for Florida for 2 years and currently travels around the U.S. playing different professional beach volleyball circuits. Devin loves coaching and watching her players grow. She dedicates herself to helping athletes become the best players they can be on and off the court.
